Come experience Villa Sirena (House of Mermaids), a wonderful European style villa nestled on a large private lot in Laguna Beach. Upon entering the property you will be immersed in the beauty of the grounds, from the meticulous landscaping, beautiful fountains and foliage, to the detail of the copper mermaid roof gutters. Take the garden path around the home to the large private salt water pool. This private estate size lot is very unique to Laguna Beach. The outside of this marvelous home almost mirrors the interior.
Upon entering Villa Sirena you will be impressed with the meticulous detail the owners took in preparing their home for part time rental. They spared no detail in furnishing the home with luxurious appeal, from the furniture to the original and limited edition art. Once inside you will feel like you are in a European villa with imported Italian tile, granite and fixtures. For those who enjoy to cook the kitchen has all the amenities a chef would expect, i.e. dual dishwashers, touch faucets and a La Cornue oven/range. The family room features a 55 inch LCD television with surround sound and plenty of seating. The home also offers a cozy living area with a beautiful fireplace for evening ambiance.
There are two bedrooms on the main floor with queen beds adorned with luxury linens and new furniture hand-picked by the owners. Each bedroom has its own private bath. From the private balcony the spacious master suite is upstairs offering panoramic views of the ocean and Catalina Island. The master suite also offers a huge bathroom and large walk-in closet. The home provides two sleeper sofas allowing for a total capacity of 10 guests.
After enjoying the expansive ocean views, incredible sunsets or a swim in the sparkling pool, you can take a short five minute walk to Table Rock Beach and Thousand Steps Beach, Laguna Beach's most beautiful beaches known as its 'best kept secret'. Also within a short walking distance are several fine restaurants featuring a variety of cuisine (Italian, Thai, Caribbean, Seafood & Mexican).

Summary: My husband and I enjoyed an extended stay at this lovely villa in the late autumn and our daughter and family joined us for the middle two weeks. Apart from the glorious weather for that time of year, our vacation was made complete by the superb location of the property (steps from the ocean yet close to the Pacific Coast Highway and minutes from elegant downtown Laguna Beach), by it's beautiful grounds with blossoms still flowering everywhere and by its spacious and luxurious interior. With the whole family together, we were four adults and three children and the size of the villa meant we never felt crowded and each had plenty of space to themselves when required. The children loved the private pool area (still warm without heating) and they spent time in it every day (actually preferring it to the beach for playing and relaxing) before we all congregated together for evening entertainment in the large TV/family lounge. A wonderful stay at a beautiful location which we would highly recommend and one which we hope to repeat ourselves at some future date. The villa provided for all our needs and the visit arrangements were made easy by the helpfulness of the owner who responded promptly to the few queries that arose during our stay.
